As it is going to be World Heritage Day on April 18, the team at TEDxIpoh decided to honour the occasion by having a TEDxIpoh event! The event will be filled with discussions topics of legacy and inheritance, through art, education, and science. The event will be held in a fully restored heritage building, so put on your best vintage wear and come join TEDxIpohWarisan!
This is a free event however there will be only 50 seats. Refreshments will be served.

Prominent Malaysia inventor, Bugs Tan.
Mr. Bugs has 14 national awards to his name. He received the National Innovation Award from the Prime Minister in 2007. In 2009 India honored him with the International Excellence Award for Innovation. This is in recognition for his contribution to the field of creativity and innovation.
He is a nominee of National Geographic / Ashoka Changemaker Geotourism Award for 2008 and 2009. He also an appointed council member of the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) for term 2008-2010 and was the person that conceptualize green conferences for Asian Strategy & Leadership Institute (ASLI).
Sasaki-sensei is a reputable ikebana master, who hails from Fukuoka in the Kyushu Prefecture. Having over 50 years of experience in the ancient art of flower arranging, she teaches workshops and judges competitions in Japan.
