At the dawn of the dotcom boom in Malaysia more than 10 years ago, a young Technopreneur dreamt of building an online auction site that would be the de-facto auction site in Malaysia to rival eBay, the 8,000 pound gorilla from the US.
Started during the dotcom boom, he had to struggle through the global dotcom bust in 2000 but he persevered and today his site is the No.1 online auction site in Malaysia. It must be more than luck. He is one of the very few Malaysian entrepreneurs to manage an Internet based business in a leadership position in the region. The site is LELONG.COM the brainchild of Richard Tan.
Richard has kindly agreed to share his entrepreneurial journey with us, so join us for an interesting and colorful Internet adventure story. Click HERE for his profile.
