Open Web Asia Top 10 Apps

Open Web Asia 2012 (OWA2012) was recently held in Haikou, Hainan in China in-conjunction with Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) SME Summit. APEC is the premier forum for facilitating economic growth, cooperation, trade and investment in the Asia-Pacific region and this summit was focus on SME. Together with the OpenWebAsia Workgroup, OWA2012, this event brings together entrepreneurs and business people from all around the APEC region to learn about key trends in both SME and the internet/mobile space.

There were over 100 online business and apps that have been nominated and selected by the judges from the Open Web Asia Workgroup. Members of these workgroup consist of specially invited key influencer of the startup space in Asia such as Dr. Gang Lu of Technode, Rama of DailySocial, Masaru of Startup Dating , Gwendolyn from SGE.Io, Mohan from E27, James from beSuccess, Casey from StartupHK and many more.

Full disclosure the author is one of the key member of Open Web Asia Workgroup and a judge for the top 10 Asian Apps.
