HotelClub members in Asia can now grab a bargain with the launch of a weekly hotel Flash Sale program. Beginning in February, the deals will offer a 40-60% discount to one hand-picked four- or five-star international hotel and are only available for 24 hours.
Each Flash Sale offer is based on its high score in the HotelClub Deal Attribute Index. This measures demand for a particular location including cities to beaches, for events like Valentine’s Day, vacancy in high quality hotels, positive hotel reviews from HotelClub members, availability of forward booking dates and the best possible rates.
“Following the success of our weekly Flash Sales for Australian members, we saw a high demand from our members in Asia to launch their own program. The feedback from our customers has indicated that the limited time offer and deep discounts provide the impetus for travellers who are planning a trip, but haven’t yet booked,” said Jeremy Bellinghausen, President of HotelClub.
“Our on-the-ground experts combined with extensive booking data have given us a solid indication of both regional and international destinations that will appeal to members in Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong and beyond. HotelClub’s Flash Sales are available to members in 14 Asian countries including Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia. Members can use their rewards to decrease the price of their accommodation even further, while also earning rewards for their next trip. Each flash sale destination will be revealed Thursdays at 9am AEDT (6am Singapore and Malaysia time), starting from 9 February 2012.
