Singapore based company EatAds.com, a global online marketplace for media buyers and sellers of Outdoor Advertising & OOH (Out-of-Home) media, has announced it is expanding strongly into the Indian media market.
Outdoor advertising online platform receives strong Indian market coverage
EatAds.com offers the outdoor advertising world a platform to simply and easily, browse and discover available Outdoor and OOH advertising spaces. Over 100 media owners are already listed in Singapore, Hong Kong, Philippines, Bangladesh, Thailand and now some of India’s largest Outdoor owners have listed on the site. Media buyers in India, like the rest of the world, have been increasingly frustrated that the discovery and planning process very often takes weeks. Almost all other industries – from property (buy & rental) to job search to supplier sourcing – have all been transformed by the use of efficient online sales channels. And now, outdoor advertising and OOH (Out-of-Home) media owners have access to a channel that their buyers much prefer using.

With the Indian outdoor advertising market booming and still mostly inefficient, EatAds.com has decided to establish and nurture its presence in the country. Speaking recently in India, EatAds.com Co-Founder, Nigel Hembrow commented, “Being such a large and fragmented country, we had always suspected a need for EatAds.com in India, and over past months all the India buyers and sellers we have met here have validated this need. We’re excited to be working with our Delhibased partner to grow our user base in India.”
And they haven’t wasted time in securing support from the best. Times OOH, one of India’s strongest outdoor advertising owners, are excited by the potential of the EatAds.com outdoor advertising online platform. Other Indian media owners already using EatAds.com include big names like Bright Outdoor, Graphisads, Roshan, Midas and many more.
With a free-to-list, no commission business model many Indian media owners are planning to list on EatAds.com over coming months. To date they already boast a database of over 6000 listings, and over 100 media owner accounts, providing buyers with a large database of opportunities for outdoor advertising & OOH media.
Outside of India, media owners with a presence in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia and Myanmar are using, or will soon use, the EatAds.com platform. EatAds has been in talks with a number of players across the region and will be making further announcements soon.
Kenson Gan, of Myanmar pioneer Ganad Advertising, says “I am looking forward to using EatAds.com and allowing buyers to have a simple and easy to use platform to view our premium inventory”.
With the company growing fast, they are bolstering their in-house technical team and have rebuilt the site for rapid scalability. EatAds.com is now live with standard search and will be launching innovative buy-side and sell-side features soon. Based on this success, they are already in discussions for their next round of funding.
