It came to our attention that Socialwalk.com, a business matching company for buyers and suppliers receives a RM 1 Million investment from Crystal Horse Investments (CHI). Socialwalk has been in business for 2 years and it has started as a result of the now defunct MSC Pre-Seed program. This is the very first time the company receives investment from a venture capitalist after self sustaining since the RM 150K pre seed fund.
The company have grown and evolved quite a bit since it’s inception and now serve over 200+ events all around the Asia. So far, Socialwalk have expanded to Singapore and looking to establish a larger present in the Asia’s meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions industry.
Socialwalk founder Tham Keng Yew said that at this point in time, his company is looking to grow its team around Asia and that is the purpose of them seeking fund. He did not comment on the valuation of this company and how much stake CHI will get from the Rm 1 million investment.
